Required Documents
These documents need to be collected and Apostilled prior to arriving in Paraguay.
The Apostille stamp is an international certification that validates and proves that a document is genuine and original to its character. This is a legally confirmed approval that all authorities in Paraguay require to accept documents as valid. This stamp will need to be issued in the same country as document origin, hence if the document is extracted in i.e Germany, the Apostille stam will also have to be made in Germany.
Birth Certificate
Must include parents data (mother & father), and if married also the spouse and the potential children need to be visible. Document must not be older than 3 months.
The document must either be in English or Spanish. When a customer cannot support any of these language requirements, Strategica can help in translating and validating the document to the authorities for an extra fee. Please understand that this extra step generally adds time to the overall process.
Evidence Of Marriage/divorce
Document only needed when information is not published in the birth certificate.
This information may be covered within the birth certificate, but when not it will need a separate Apostille stamp. This document is obviously only needed when the individual holds, or have held, such status.
Clean Criminal Record From Authority/police
Document should not be older than 3 months, and should be extracted from the customer’s country of origin.
This document will prove that the individual does not have any criminal record. This document will also need to be in either English or Spanish, but if not Strategica can also here help in translating and validating the document to the authorities for an extra fee.
Passport Copy
In order for Strategica to initiate the process before the arrival of the customer in Paraguay, a scanned copy of the passport is needed. This document will not need an Apositlle stamp!!
The expiration date of the Passport should not be less than 6 months.
